The Development of Learning Activities on Performance Skills in “Creative Drama” Based on Devies Lnstructional Model for the 9th Grade Students.

Abstract

This research consists purposes were 1. to develop learning activity skills based on Davies's concept, assembling creative drama materials that are effective according to the criteria. 80/80 2. to compare academic achievement before and after class 3. to compare students' practical skills with a percentage threshold of 80% and 4. to study the satisfaction of students studying by organizing learning activities. It is a combination of qualitative and quantitative research. There are research tools including 8 learning activity plans, a test to measure academic achievement, a practical assessment skill, and a satisfaction questionnaire, with a sample of students grade 3/3 at Wapi Pathum School, Wapi Pathum District, Maha Sarakham Province, the class, 39 students. The students were selected  by using group randomization techniques. Statistics were used to analyze data including average, standard deviation. The sample type T-test was not independent. The result of the research showed that 1) the learning activities skill followed Davies's concept, assembling the creative drama media as effective as 90.12/89.58, 2) Students achieved higher posttest achievement than before classes of 12.46/17.28, statistically significant at .05 3) Students have skills in practicing, 89.58 percent above the 80 percent threshold for all 4) Students are in the most satisfied with learning activities (x̅= 4.58, S.D. = 0.51).
