This research consists purposes were 1. to study the opinions on factors affecting the decision to choose the mayor of Nong Kung Chouem District Mahasarakham Province 2. to study the factors affecting the decision to select the Mayor of Nong Kung, Chouem District Maha Sarakham Province and 3. To study the recommendations on factors affecting the decision to choose the mayor of Nong Kung, Chumchon District, Mahasarakham Province. is a quantitative research. The research tool was a questionnaire by a sample of 359 people who were eligible to vote in Nong Kung Subdistrict Municipality. which came from using the formula of Taro Yamane (1973). The data collected from the questionnaire were analyzed using descriptive statistics consisting of percentage, mean, standard deviation. and logistic regression analysis. The results of the research were as follows: 1) Opinions about factors affecting the decision to choose the mayor of Nong Kung, Chomcheen District Maha Sarakham Province. Overall, it was at a high level (x̅= 4.00) 2) Factors affecting the decision to choose the mayor of Nong Kung, Chouem District Mahasarakham Province, namely factors influencing compensation.
