The Development of Learning Outcome as Teaching by Role Playing for Buddhist Etiquette for Prathomsuksa 3 Students.

Abstract

This research consists purposes were 1. to develop role-play learning management activities for Buddhist etiquette Grade 3 students. 2. to study the index of effectiveness of role-play learning activities on Buddhist manners. 3. to compare the learning achievement of students with role-play learning activities on Buddhist manners between before and after study; and 4. to study the satisfaction of grade 3 students towards role-playing learning activities for Buddhist etiquette. It is a quantitative research. There were research tools which consisted of 10 role-playing learning activities plans, 20 multiple choice three-choice learning achievement test and 10 satisfaction questionnaire. at 3 Kitiya Kindergarten 30 people were randomly selected. The data collected from the research tool were analyzed using descriptive statistics consisting of percentage, mean, standard deviation. and hypothesis testing with t-test (dependent). The research revealed that 1) Role-playing learning activities the evaluation of the suitability of the learning management plan averaged between 4.59 - 4.79 is the most appropriate level. 2) the efficiency index of Learning outcome as teaching by role playing for Buddhist Etiquette Prathomsuksa 3 Students was 0.7435 indicating that students have made 74.35 percent of their learning progress. 3) The the students’ learning achievement after learning with outcome as teaching by role playing for Buddhist Etiquette was statistically higher at the significance of .05. and 4) the students’ satisfaction toward the learning in cooperative learning activities with outcome as teaching by role playing overall were good level (x̅= 2.80, S.D.= 0.96).
