Abstract

This academic article describes the promotion of local democracy by applying the King's Philosophy guidelines to promote people's understanding of local democracy or local politics and awareness of political participation, which is very important to the development of democracy at the national level Until it can be said that local democracy is an important foundation for promoting self-government.  Provide opportunities for people to take part in community management Participate in the development of their locality according to their potential and community context.  If people understand the roles and duties of citizenship, it will lead to the development of democracy at the national level. Since the 1997 Constitution, which has been specified in Chapter 9, Local Government The powers and duties of self-government are clearly defined.  Therefore, it is very important that local democracy or local politics be promoted according to the constitution until the current version of the 2017 Constitution. will result in success The King's Philosophy approach, which is "understanding, accessing, and developing" is a process of creating a body of knowledge for people to understand local politics or local democracy and aware of the powers and duties of self-government can develop their locality in an appropriate direction and contribute to sustainable local development Throughout the promotion of local democracy will be the foundation for the further development of democracy at the national level.
