Living Standard and a Life Guideline for Elder Musicians in North Eastern Thailand.

Abstract

The purposes of the current study were 1. To study the quality of life of older musicians in the Northeastern region and 2. To study the way of life of older musicians in the Northeastern region. It is a quantitative research. The research tool was a questionnaire with a sample of 100 elderly musicians in the Northeastern region of 20 provinces, totaling 100 people from a small group selection. The data collected from the questionnaire were analyzed using descriptive statistics consisting of percentage, mean, standard deviation. The results showed that 1) Quality of life of elderly musicians in the Northeast Sorted from the highest to lowest averages were: 1.1) Social relations It was at a moderate level (x̅=3.66) 1.2) mentally at a moderate level (x̅=3.88) 1.3) physically at a low level with values ​​(x̅=2.73) and 1.4) environmental. at the low level (x̅ = 2.10), respectively, and 2) the lifestyle of elderly musicians in the Northeast consisted of: 2.1) Political factors. At the highest level (x̅ = 4.60) 2.2) Psychological factors were feelings, values, life satisfaction. at the moderate level (x̅=3.93) 2.3) objective factors economic factors were moderate (x̅=3.24) and environmental factors at the moderate level (x̅=3.15), respectively.
