Developing an Efficient Village Fund Management System: A Case Study of Khoksithong Village Kaanliang Sub-District Nagae District Nakon Phanom Province.

Abstract

This research consists purposes were 1. to study the basic information of an efficient fund management system of Khoksithong Village Kaanliang Subdistrict Nagae District Nakon Phanom Province 2. develop the efficient fund management system and 3. implement the system and confirm its effectiveness of the efficient fund management system. It is quantitative research. The instruments including (1) questionnaires (2) fund management system quality assessment form and (3) Evaluation form of the effective implementation of village fund management system. There was a sample of 110 people from using the concept of Taro Yamane (1973) and the target group of 159 people. The data was collected from the research instruments and related documents analyzed through descriptive statistic. It consists of percentage, mean and standard deviation.  The results of the research showed that 1) The basic information of an efficient fund management system of Khoksithong Village, Kaanliang Subdistrict, Nagae District, Nakon Phanom Province displays that in overall, the system is applied in practice accounted for 60%, the other 40% is not. In addition, it found that some members did not repay the fund and misuse the loan, 2) The result of Developing an Efficient Village Fund Management System shows the system consists of 3 parts. Part 1: basic information, Part 2: effective management and Part 3: the village fund committee's operations, and 3) After the implementation, it confirms the effectiveness that (1) the result from the survey of the committees and the fund members indicates that the overall average was at the highest level (= 4.67) (2) the outcome confirmed the efficiency of the effective village fund management system. It was shown that the overall average was at the highest level as well (= 4.85).
