Abstract

The academic article to present the guidelines for operation of community enterprises raising cattle in the epidemic situation of Lumpy Skin Disease, with the aim of sustaining and continual growth and development. Since “Lumpy Skin Disease” is caused by a virus. It is an emerging disease that occurs in cattle in Thailand. It has affected a wide range of fattening cattle farmers, found an outbreak and many cattle mortality rates with symptoms of the disease in many areas. The appearance of infected cattle is high fever, lethargy, and anorexia. There is a large blister on the skin and having a miscarriage resulting in the inability to continue breeding. Fattening cattle farmers must bear the increased costs and expenses of caring for sick cattle but unable to sell the beef according to the length of time it should be. At present, treatment guidelines can only treat symptomatically or support the symptoms indefinitely and waiting for the vaccine from the relevant agencies. The community enterprise group must have a working guideline, namely the creation of knowledge management on disease prevention and treatment among the community enterprises who raise cattle in Thailand to help reduce the problem of waiting to solve problems from the government.
