Abstract

This research consists purposes to 1. study the level of effectiveness in administration of the Bachelor of Public Administration program 2. study the factors influencing the effectiveness of the Bachelor of Public Administration program administration and 3. develop guidelines and strategies to increase the effectiveness of curriculum administration. Using quantitative research methodology, the research tools were questionnaires. The sample group consisted of students in the Bachelor of Public Administration, Public Administration program, 204 samples were used using a simple random sampling method. The statistics used for data analysis were percentage, mean and standard deviation. The statistics used to test the hypothesis, including Multiple Regression Analysis (MRA). The results showed that 1) effectiveness level of Bachelor of Public Administration, overall, it was at a high level (x̅= 4.27). 2) the factors influencing the effectiveness of the curriculum administration, namely the objectives and goals of the curriculum. It has a multiplicity relationship with the effectiveness of course administration It was statistically significant at the .05 level with a multiple correlation coefficient (R) of .883 and was able to predict the effectiveness of the Bachelor of Public Administration (R2) program at 78 percent. Forecast equal to ± .26. When considering the regression coefficient of the forecaster, it was found that the objectives and goals of the course Able to predict the effectiveness of Bachelor of Public Administration program administration with statistical significance at the .05 level with the regression coefficient in the form of raw score, and the regression coefficients in the standard score form (b, β) were .348 and .353. 3) Strategies to increase the effectiveness of the Bachelor of Public Administration program administration Department of Public Administration must be focus on the development of the quality of the teaching staff. and develop clarity of course objectives and goals to be more appropriate and complete.
