Abstract

This research consists purpose of this research is to develop a model law on the establishment of customs courts and customs trial procedures. is qualitative research. The research tool was an interview form and the target group consisted of 14 people resulting from specific selection then use the information gathered from the documents and in-depth interviews for content analysis. The results showed that the customs court, which was established as a specialized court, had judges with specific experience and an associate judge. There is a law on prosecution that uses an investigative system and combines disputed civil, criminal and administrative cases in the same customs court having jurisdiction in the area where the business of importing Export of industrial products and areas with customs formalities, as well as research suggesting the establishment of a customs court and customs procedural procedures by adopting the established law as a model. Enter the legislative process for enacting into law, when the law has been considered by the legislature. The government shall prepare a budget for the establishment of a customs court and the selection of judicial judges and an associate judge with expertise to continue adjudicating the customs case.
