Abstract

This research has purpose to prepare the Process Model of the Preparation for the Administrative Management of Inactive Dam of Thailand. This research is the Qualitative Research with research tools which are Questionnaires and Target-group for 60 persons from the Purposive Sampling method before having the Content-analysis with information from related document and In-depth Interview. The research result has been found that the Process Model of the Preparation for the Administrative Management of Inactive Dam of Thailand has 2 components which are the Factor Component which be used in the decision making for eliminating an inactive dam in 9 aspects: Security of dam and Public, Economic, Social, Culture and Tradition, Natural resources and Environment, Technology and Engineering, Project Fund, Law, and National Security Strategy and Politic. Secondly, the Administrative Management of the Inactive Dam which has 3 factors; Policy and Operation Plan, Process Model for the Disuse of an inactive dam, and Law for supporting the operation of disuse of the inactive dam, includes the suggestion which is the policy assignment on the disuse of inactive dam, develop the related law, organization establishing and funding for the disuse of dam to prepare the administrative management of inactive dam for all types of dam and to be the operation guidelines for the government agencies.
