Retro Dance Group of the Sawan Ban Na in Ku Thong Subdistrict Chiang Yuen District Maha Sarakham Province.

Abstract

This research consists purposes 1. To study the history of the Sawan Ban Na Dance, Ku Thong Sub-district Chiang Yuen District Maha Sarakham Province and 2. To study the composition of the Sawan Ban Na dance performance, Ku Thong Sub-district Chiang Yuen District. Maha Sarakham Province This is a qualitative research. There is a research tool, namely an interview form, and the target group is 4 people who come from a specific selection. The results showed that 1) Retro dance performance of the Sawan Ban Na troupe Influenced by the retro dance performances of the central region Applied in conjunction with local language and musical instruments. Emphasis is on the style of dancing to be applied to meet the needs of today's society, and 2) the elements of retro dance performance are 2.1) the instruments used in the performance 2.2) the dress style of the performers. It is divided into two types, retro and modern. 2.3) The performance method is divided into 2 periods, the Wai Khru dance round and the retro band dance round. 2.4) The music used for the performance. Currently, both international songs and basic songs with fun rhythms mix together. 2.5)Stage used for performances consists of stage with actors and musicians and 2.6) Opportunities to perform.
