Abstract

This research consists purposes were 1. To study level of quality of Life of the elderly in Nong Ko Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Borabue District, Mahasarakham Province 2. To study factors affecting quality of life of the elderly in Nong Ko Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Borabue District, Mahasarakham Province and 3) To study the recommendations on factors affecting quality of life of the elderly in Nong Ko Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Borabue District, Mahasarakham Province. This was a quantitative research The research tool was a questionnaire with a sample of 292 people using the Taro Yamane formula and using a simple random sampling method. The data collected from the questionnaire were analyzed using descriptive statistics consisting of percentage, mean, standard deviation. and linear regression multiple analysis The results of research were as follow: 1) The level of quality of Life of the elderly in Nong Ko Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Borabue District, Mahasarakham Province was rated at a high level (x̅= 3.84) 2) Factors affecting quality of life of the elderly in Nong Ko Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Borabue District, Mahasarakham Province include: Factors of care from family members and promotion factors from community. Can predict together 88% and 3) Recommendations on factors affecting the quality of life of the elderly in Nong Ko Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Borabue District, Mahasarakham Province including: 3.1) should promote knowledge in caring for the elderly in the family both physically and mentally; should campaign for community participation in organizing activities with the elderly; body Local government organizations should promote careers for the elderly as appropriate, and 3.3) should arrange a budget to care for the elderly and have activities for donating items to help the elderly.
