Abstract

The purposes of this study were to study 1. school administration to develop students’ vocational skills at Ratchaprachanukroh 20, Chumphon Province. 2. students’ vocational skills at Ratchaprachanukroh 20, Chumphon Province. And 3. Guidelines for School Administration to Develop students’ vocational  skills at Ratchaprachanukroh School 20, Chumphon Province. It is a combination of quantitative and qualitative research. The research tool was a questionnaire. The sample group was School administrators, teachers and school committees Ratchaprachanukroh School 20, Chumphon Province, 56 students from a specific selection. The data obtained from the questionnaire were then analyzed using descriptive statistics. consists of average and standard deviation and the data obtained from the group discussion for content analysis.The results showed that: 1) The current situation of school administration to develop students’ vocational skills was at a high level (x̅= 4.09). When considering each aspect, it was at a high level in every aspect, sorted by average in descending order: Plan, Do, Check, and Act. 2) Students’ vocational skills in overall was at a high level (x̅= 4.04). When considering each skill, it were at a high level, sorted by average by descending, the issues on average higher than others was flexibility and adaptability, followed by initiative and self-guiding. The less average than the others was leadership. And 3) Guidelines for school administration to develop students' vocational skills found that (1) school should set goals for all students to have careers included in the school curriculum for students to study in the course, and there is a budget allocated for the cost of materials for vocational training. (2) school should establish a system for improving performance with the help of other parties for solving the problem. (3) school should arrange for children to live in dormitories on a professional basis, and having more than one career. (4) school should continually provide leadership enhancement activities. And (5) school should focus on cultivating students with good qualities, and with high abilities that they will have the opportunity to study at a higher level.
