The relationship between corporate governance and wealth in services industry group in the stock exchange of Thailand.

Abstract

This research consists purposes 1. study the relationship between corporate governance and corporate wealth. as measured by the price-to-earnings ratio of the service industry listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand. 2. study the relationship between corporate governance and corporate wealth. as measured by operating profit margin of the service industry listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand; and 3. study the relationship between corporate governance and corporate wealth. as measured by the dividend yield of the service industry listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand. This is a qualitative research. The sample group used in the study is secondary data from companies listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand. during the year 2017-2019, a total of 150 specific samples with complete information The data collected from the annual data sheet (Form 56-1) were analyzed using descriptive statistics consisting of percentage, mean, standard deviation. and multiple regression analysis. To test the relationship, Research has shown that 1) corporate governance has not relationship with the wealth of the business. as measured by the price-to-earnings ratio of the service industry listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand 2) Corporate governance is related to the wealth of the business. as measured by operating profit margin of the service industry listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand. and 3) Corporate governance is related to the wealth of the business. as measured by the dividend yield of the service industry listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand.
