Abstract

This academic paper explains The formation of a political party is of great importance in the regime of democracy. This is the first process to enter the electoral system to send candidates to represent the development of the country in all areas, in which Thailand is a democratic regime with the King as Head of State.An important mechanism that is at the heart of promoting people's participation is political parties because they are political institutions at the center of the process of peoples participation. As well as those who share political ideologies to formulate policies in the administration of the country Constructive political activities are promoted, it will strengthen the development of democracy and create real democracy. Therefore, the author sees that Political parties, in addition to being a political institution, play an important role in promoting representatives to enter the electoral system. It also plays an important role in being a center for promoting the participation of the people, contributing to the strengthening of democracy.  In accordance with the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand 2017, the country's political reform in promoting the participation of people in political activities Election Including the referendum vote and promoting the activities of political parties in order to develop into a political institution of the people. So that political parties can be the main mechanism for promoting and developing democracy.
