Guidelines of Students’ Parents for Educational Management of Schools in Mahasarakham Town Municipality.

Abstract

The purposes of the research were 1. to study the satisfaction of students’ parents with educational management of schools in Mahasarakham Town Municipality, 2. to compare the satisfaction of students’ parents with educational management of schools in Mahasarakham Town Municipality regarding occupation and educational background, and 3. to find useful suggestions for educational management of schools in Mahasarakham Town Municipality. It is a quantitative research. The research tool was a questionnaire with 5 levels of estimation, with a discriminating power between 0.59 - 0.89 and a confidence value of 0.96. The sample group consisted of 248 parents of preschool children in schools under the Maha Sarakham Municipality, Academic Year 2018. by random group The collected data were then analyzed in descriptive statistics such as percentage, mean, standard deviation. and hypothesis testing using t-tests (Independent Samples) and F-tests (One-way ANOVA). Results of the research were as follows: 1) The study showed that the overall satisfaction of the students’ parents with the educational management of schools in Mahasarakham Town Municipality was at a high level. ( = 3.76) 2) The research findings indicated that the satisfaction of the students’ parents with the educational management regarding the different occupations and different educational backgrounds was not significantly different. Classified by occupation p =.719 > .05, Classified by educational p =.896 > .05 and 3) Regarding the useful suggestions for educational management, the findings suggested that size, height and appropriateness of the classrooms should be examined for early childhood students. There should be a beautiful and safe park for relaxing of the students. There should be many signs for learning and skill improvement. There should be obvious signs of drop-off and pick-up point, entrance and exist for the safety and convenience. The drainage ditch should be always checked for water flow.
