Abstract

The purposes of the study were 1. To study the history of doing credit card business. 2. To study problems with credit card users and 3. to establish legal measures on credit card users. Credit card business operator It is a combination of qualitative research and quantitative (Mixed Methods) research tools, including questionnaire and interview The statistics used for data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation. And content analysis The research results were found that 1) History of credit card business It was found that the establishment of a credit information center with the idea of ​​establishing a central credit register system In order for financial institutions to use as information for lending and the Bank of Thailand can control the lending of financial institutions. And a law has been passed on conducting credit information business. 2) Problems with credit card users. Credit card operators found that the credit card owner agreement. Credit card business operator with provisions under the Civil and Commercial Code of Thailand Including studies and comparisons with the judgments of the courts of Thailand related to the Credit Card Act. and 3) Establish legal measures on credit card users. Credit card business operators are: 3.1) requiring government organizations or agencies to clearly supervise credit card business operations In which there is a law to support the authority of the agency By having the power to control and supervise credit card business operators Both a commercial bank licensed by law and credit card business operators that are companies or stores under the same power and laws 3.2) Establish legal measures for credit card business to be specific laws to regulate and enforce laws related to credit card business.
