Abstract

The purposes of this study were 1. To study the factors influencing the ethical discipline of lower secondary school students in Roi Et Province, 2. to create a model for developing ethical discipline among lower secondary school students in Roi Et Province and 3. to experiment. Applying and evaluating the ethical development model for discipline among lower secondary school students in Roi Et Province. It is a blended research between qualitative and quantitative research (Mixed Methods), divided into 3 phases, with research tools: questionnaire, interview and evaluation form. The sample group for phase 1 was junior high school students. Under the Secondary Education Area Office in Roi Et Province, total 394 people and target group for Phase 2 of 20 people and Phase 3 of 42 people. Mean standard deviation The data were analyzed by using statistical analysis of structural equations (Structural Equation Model: SEM) by using LISREL program. (Multivariate Analysis of Covariance: MANCOVA) determines the statistical significance at the .05 level, also obtained from the interview for content analysis. The research findings were as follows: 1) Factors influencing the ethics of discipline among junior high school students. In Roi Et Province, the significance level of .05 consisted of 4 variables: 1.1) attitude, discipline (0.08) 1.2) imitation of parents in discipline (0.10) 1.3) imitation of peers in discipline. (0.11) and 1.4) Teacher imitation in discipline (0.14) 2) Model of ethical development of discipline among junior high school students from 4 causal variables led to 12 activities: 2.1) Hearing aid. Noi 2.2) Good discipline 2.3) Analyze and choose master teachers 2.4) Finding role models 2.5) Building value with time 2.6) Familiar 2.7) Self-knowledge 2.8) Role 2.9) Role play 2.10) Dress well 2.11) And 2.12) 5S and 3 activities) The results of the experiments and evaluation showed that After the experiment, the experimental group developed an ethics of discipline. Better than the control group The statistical analysis results showed that after the experiment, the mean scores in all variables of the experimental group and the control group. The difference was statistically significant at the .05 level.
