Abstract

The Health Promotion School Project that has been responding to the public
health development policy together with learning as being in accordance with the Health
Department’s strategies for public health development since 1998. Thus this project it is
intended to monitor and assess the Health Promoting , primary school project. Primary
Education Area Office Nongbualumphu District 1 by using CIPP Model. The sample include
school administrators and 6 people, education committee of 18 people, teachers of 18
people, parents of 180 people and students of 180 people, consisted of 402 persons from 6
schools obtained by purposive sampling. The five types of instrument used for collecting
data included 3 five – rating – scale assessment form : form 1 with 45 items for teachers ;
form 2 with 20 items for students ; and form 3 with 32 items for parents ; a structured –
interview form with 31 items for school administrators and education committee ; and an
observation and evidence study form with 40 items. The statistics employed for analyzing
data were percentage, mean, and standard deviation.
The study results were as follows :
1. Results of assessing the health promotion school project
1.1 In the context aspect : viewed about the project at a strongly agreed level,
consisting of policies, objectives, condition of needs, environments, facilities, and necessities.
1.2 In the input aspect : viewed about the project at a strongly agreed level,
consisting of media, documents, materials and supplies, budgets, and personnel.
1.3 In the process aspect : viewed about the project at a strongly agreed level,
consisting of planning, management, and project operation activities.
1.4 In the product aspect : viewed about the project at a strongly agreed level,
consisting of operational results and attainments of project objectives. For results of assessing
the reception of health services of students, most students received health services, health
examination, and teaching hygiene by teachers; were watched over and promoted in
nutrition and dental health; and were cared in physical environments, which resulted in
students’ health.
