Development of social adjustment of Matthayomsueksa 1 students in an activity adjustment. Social : the application of the concept of Self-Assessment

Abstract

The development of social adjustment is important in promoting learning and
social behavior. It allows individuals to adapt to the situation and the social be happy.
This study aimed to develop the social adjustment of Matthayomsueksa 1 students the
activities strengthen social adjustment. To compare the social adjustment of Matthayomsueksa 1
students before and after the event to strengthen social adjustment and to compare the
social adjustment of Matthayomsueksa 1 students before and after the event to strengthen
social adjustment. The sample used in this study consisted of 34 Matthayomsueksa 1
students in Jodmoung School, Amphoe Silalad, Changwat Si Sa Ket, in the first semester
of the academic year 2013, obtained using the simple random sampling. Two types of the
instruments used in this study were plans for to strengthen social adjustment and a
measure of social adjustment, which comprised 6 aspects : emotional sensitivity, emotional
expressivity, emotional control, social experessivity, social sensitivity ,and social control.
Values ranging from 0.28 to 0.58 on the classification reliability was .74. The statistics used
for analyzing the collected data were mean and standard deviation ; and Wilcoxon Signed
Ranks test and the Mann-Whitney U test were employed for testing hypotheses.
The results of the study were as follows :
1. The student who received organization of strengthen social adjustment
activities showed social adjustment after organizing activities at a good level.
2. The student who received organization of strengthen social adjustment
activities showed gains in social adjustment from before learning at the .05 level of
significance.
3. The student who received organization of strengthen social adjustment
activities indicated higher social adjustment than those who received organization of
conventional activities at the .05 level of significance.
To enhance the social adjustment of the concept of Self - Assessment to develop
the social Self - Assessment of learners. This will be the development of social Self -
Assessment of the students further.
