INNOVATIVE LEARNING ECOSYSTEM IN THE DIGITAL ERA OF PRIVATE CHINESE SCHOOL NETWORKS

Abstract

This research article aims to 1) Examine the current state of digital-era learning ecosystem innovation within a network of private Chinese language schools. 2) Develop digital-era learning ecosystem innovation for the network of private Chinese language schools. 3) Evaluate the digital-era learning ecosystem innovation of the network of private Chinese language schools. The study employs qualitative research methodologies, using the concepts of learning ecosystem innovation and digital-era teaching management in private Chinese language schools as the research framework. The research area focuses on the network of private Chinese language schools. The target group consists of 21 key informants, categorized into three groups 1) Individuals with direct or indirect authority in policy formulation. 2) Individuals responsible for implementing policies. 3) Academics specializing in digital-era learning ecosystem innovation. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and three rounds of EDFR (Expert Delphi Forecasting Research) questions. The analysis involved content analysis and descriptive narrative. The research findings revealed that objective 1 revealed that the learning ecosystem innovation can be categorized into six components as follows 1) Operational strategies 2) Excellence in operational methods 3) Curriculum development and activities aligned with learners' learning outcomes 4) Allocation of learning resources to keep pace with 21st-century changes 5) Effective use of instructional technology 6) Sustainable collaboration within networks. For Objective 2, the findings identified the following perspectives 1) Strategic perspective on the adoption of digital technology in school management. 2) Perspective on teaching and learning management. 3) Perspective on curriculum and activity design 4) Perspective on policies for building collaborative networks. For Objective 3, the evaluation results showed that the level of learning ecosystem innovation in the digital era among Chinese language private school networks was rated as the highest in all aspects.
