Learning Management Innovation Based on the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy in Primary Schools of the Southern Andaman Provinces

Abstract

This Article aimed to study 1) study the current state of learning management based on                 the  Sufficiency Economy Philosophy in primary schools of the southern Andaman provinces; 2) develop an innovative approach to learning management based on the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy in primary schools; and 3) evaluate and present the learning management innovation based on the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy in primary schools. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, using concepts and theories related to management, learning management, and management based on  the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy as the research framework. The research area covers primary schools of the southern Andaman provinces, including Krabi, Phang-Nga, Phuket, Ranong, Trang, and Satun. The sample group consists of 328 individuals, including school principals or acting principals and academic department heads, selected through a multi-stage random sampling process. The research instruments include: 1) questionnaires, 2) interviews with experts, and 3) innovation assessment forms. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and descriptive analysis. The research findings are as follows;

1. According to the first objective, the current state of learning management based on the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy in primary schools is found to be at a high level overall.


2. According to the second objective, the learning management innovation based on the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy comprises three aspects: 1) management, 2) management based on the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy, and 3) learning management.


3. According to the third objective, the evaluation results indicate that the innovation is feasible and suitable for application in the administration of primary schools.
