Strategic management potential of Yala City municipality according to the guidelines "Good Local Management" based on Good Governance

Abstract

This academic article is aiming to explain about good organizational management, including: 1) study the concepts of good local management; by focusing on the analysis of concepts based on good governance. 2) To study the potential of integration of the relationship between good local management concepts and strategic management of Yala City Municipality. Good local management according to the concept of good governance. There are important principles in order to modernize Thai government administration. It is achieved through cooperation from many sectors in order to be more important in responding to the needs of the people. In Thailand, there are rules and regulations to enforce until now, according to the Royal Decree on Principles and Procedures for Good Public Administration, B.E. 2546.

The results of the analysis of the Yala City Municipality found that: Yala City Municipality is an organization that focuses on importance on efficient management. There are various management strategies such as, 3Rs Strategy (Restructure Repositioning Reimage) to achieve the 6C (Cleanliness Collaboration Connectivity Culture Competitive Comfort) strategy, which allows an organization to have outstanding performance, is accepted and satisfied by the people. Operations in accordance with good governance, therefore Yala City Municipality has passed the Local Performance Assessment (LPA) and has received many quality awards.
