Public Participation in the Preparation of Local Development Plan Thap Sakae Subdistrict Municipality, Thap Sakae District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province

Abstract

This research purpose were to 1) evaluate people participation in Local Development Plann, Thap Sakae Subdistrict Municipality, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province 2) compare the people participation in Local Development Plan, classified by demographic factors   3) compare the people participation in Local Development Plan, classified by residence areas. This was a quantitative approach. Samples were 358 residents of Thap Sakae Subdistrict Municipality, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. Questionnaire was used as research instrument. Statistical tools employed were frequency, mean,  standard deviation,and one way ANOVA. The findings were 1) people participation in Local Development Plan was at  highest level  2) people with different genders had different  participation with .05  level 0f statistical significance  and  3) there were differences in People Participation in Local Development Plan  people in  different areas with level of statistical significance at .05.
