The Effectiveness of people's participation in the preparation of local development plans of Khlong Khoen Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Mueang Samut Songkhram District, Samut Songkhram Province

Abstract
The Objectives of this research were (1) to assess the effectiveness of the local development plan of the Khlong Khoen Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Mueang Samut Songkhram, District Samut Songkhram Province (2) to compare the effectiveness of the local development plan from the attitudes of the population categorized by the sample (3) to describe the correlation between the affecting factors with the effectiveness of the local development plan (4) verified the ability of affecting factors to forecast the effectiveness of people's participation in the preparation of local development plans. This was quantitative research. Questionnaires were data collection tool. The sample were 373 resident of Klong Khoen Sub-district, Mueang Samut Songkhram District. Analytical statistics were percentage, mean, and standard deviation, T test ANOVAF Pearson R Multiple Regression. The findings were as follows (1) assess the effectiveness of the local development plan of the Khlong Khoen Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Mueang Samut Songkhram District, Samut Songkhram Province was high level. (2) There were a significant differences among attitudes of respondents toward the effectiveness of the local development plan verified by demographic factors. (3) There were positive correlation between the affecting factors with the effectiveness of the local development plan (4) Affecting factors could forecast the effectiveness of people's participation in the preparation of local development plans at 54.9
