The Guidelines for Information System Development for School Administration under Phetchaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2

Abstract
The objectives of this research were (1) to explore the information systems for school administration, (2) to compare the information systems for school administration, and (3) to propose the guidelines for the information system development for school administration. This study employed a quantitative research methodology and used concepts of the processes and steps of information system in 4 departments of schools. The scope of research was the schools under Phetchaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The sample size determination was according to Krejcie and Morgan Tables. The 281 samples were school administrators and teachers under Phetchaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 through the stratified random sampling classified by school size and simple random sampling. The research data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed with percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and one-way analysis of variance.
The major findings were as follows:
1. On the information systems for school administration under Phetchaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 aspect, it was at the high level.
2. On the comparison of the information systems for school administration under Phetchaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 classified by educational level and school size aspect, it had significant differences at the statistical level of .05.
3. On the guidelines for the information system development for school administration aspect, it was at the highest level. It showed that the practical direction should be determined to collect, audit, and process by using information technology to analyze and conclude the data explicitly and up-to-date, and the information should be taken for school administration systematically.
The knowledge from this research is beneficial for school administrators and educational agencies to plan and develop educational innovation and technology usage more efficiently.
