Copying is allowed freely, provided acknowledgement is made thereof, and within the scope of copyright law.</p> Use information technology to enhance the quality of life in the aging society in Nong Wa sub-district, Benjalak district Sisaket Province https://so02.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/JLIS_SWU/article/view/266758 <p>The objectives of this research were 1) to investigating the current state of utilizing information technology to enhance quality of life among aging society, 2) to examine the demand for employing information technology to improve the quality of life among aging society, and 3) to explore the guidelines for leveraging information technology to enhance the quality of life among aging society. The study sample for the Objectives 1 and 2 comprised 286 elderly people living in Nong Wa Subdistrict, Benchalak District, Sisaket Province, while Objective 3 involved 7 participants from various community occupational groups, including 1 information technology expert, 1 elderly expert from the Subdistrict Health Promoting Hospital, and 1 head of the Subdistrict Administrative Organization, totaling 10 participants. Research instruments included questionnaires and focus groups, with statistical analyses employing percentages, averages, standard deviations, and descriptive methods to summarize the findings.</p> <p>The research outcomes revealed as follows: 1) The current state of information technology usage to enhance the quality of life among aging society indicated a predominant use of the YouTube application. Most participants utilized information technology for health and entertainment to communicate and access agricultural information. 2) The demand for employing information technology to improve the quality of life among aging society expressed a desire to access information regarding government-provided welfare for the elderly, entertainment, social communication, and skills to learn technology for a better quality of life. 3) The guidelines for leveraging information technology to enhance the quality of life among aging society revealed that 3.1) Concerning the physical well-being aspect, the utilization of tools aims at promoting physical well-being, such as multimedia platforms focusing on promoting physical fitness; 3.2) Concerning mental well-being aspect, the organizing group provides activities for the elderly facilitated by agencies, and incorporating stress-relieving applications; 3.3) Concerning social relationships and enhancing quality of life aspect, the promotion of communication activities to utilize information technology. Department of Library Science and Information Studies Phranakhon Rajabhat University and opinions on the necessity and importance of the Bachelor of Education program Department of Library Science and Information Studies Phranakhon Rajabhat University. The accidental sampling was used to choose 107 persons, students/ undergraduate student faculty members and academician. The instrument used to collect data was a questionnaire. The index of congruence (IOC) was 0.82 and the overall reliability value was 0.94. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation.</p> <p>The results showed that Study requirements for the Bachelor of Education program Department of Library Science and Information Studies Phranakhon Rajabhat University found that they wanted to open the course the most. The main group of 15 informants were in phase one of the research, with key informants from the Department of Skill Development. The second phase of the research collected data through the confirmation of the knowledge management model by experts in knowledge management and related people. A total of seven people were selected in a specific way. The research instrument used was an unstructured in-depth interview and an evaluation form to confirm the model. The data was analyzed using content analysis. The results of the investigation revealed the following: (1) the status of knowledge management in the Department of Skill Development, in four areas: (1) Organizational Policy: the Department of Skill Development had a clear policy and vision in dealing with skill development at all levels; (2) regarding the work processes (3) Personnel in knowledge management 4) tools and facilities 2. The analysis was based on articles collected from the Scopus database between 2019 and 2023, focusing on identifying the most frequently occurring words in the titles and indexed keywords of the articles to reveal the relationships or occurring words among the topics studied in this field in R Studio and Python. The study identified 3,931 relevant articles and topic models based on the most frequently occurring words within the analyzed titles and indexed keywords. These topics primarily encompassed health sciences and medicine, with additional management, social sciences, education, and information technology coverage. The study also revealed that the most commonly indexed keywords did not differ significantly from the frequently occurring words in the analyzed titles, further emphasizing environmental studies. The participants consisted of the convenience sampling method was used 325 teachers in the Northeastern of Thailand. The instrument was a questionnaire with rating scales.Content validity index item-objective congruence (IOC) was at 0.60 - 1.00. Cronbach's alpha</p> <p>The results finding were follow:</p> <p>1) Digital citizenship skills of teachers in the Northeastern of Thailand were at a high level of overall. Privacy Management was rated the highest mean. The second highest mean were digital citizen identity.
