Mixed methods research was conducted which consisted of two phases. The first phase was a model development which studied from documentary study, interview 8 experts, and a case study of outstanding 2 schools. The second phase was to validate the developed model, and data were collected from 756 school administrators and teachers in Phrapariyattidhamma schools (year of 2018) using multi-stage sampling. The questionnaires used to collect data was a 5-rating scale, Index of item objective congruence between 0.80-1.00 and discrimination value between 0.41 - 0.95 and reliability 0.99. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation Coefficient, and the linear structural equation model was analyzed with a package software. Results showed that 1) linear structural equation model of the effectiveness in an academic affairs administration of Phrapariyattidhamma schools in general education section in the northeast of Thailand consisted of 6 factors which were transformational leadership, instructional leadership, orientation of school administrators’ power, participative management, teamwork and effectiveness in an academic affairs administration. 2) The developed model had goodness of fit with the empirical data (Chi-square = 245.46, df = 340, p-value = 0.99, c<sup>2</sup>/df = 0.72, RMSEA = 0.00, GFI = 0.98, AGFI = 0.97). The effectiveness in an academic affairs administration had been affected direct effect from transformational leadership, teamwork, and participative management, respectively, indirect effects from participative management, and total effects from transformational leadership and teamwork. It also showed that variables in the model can explain the variance of effectiveness in an academic affairs administration for 49 percent with statistical significance at the .01 level.</p>}, number={1}, journal={Journal of Educational Review Faculty of Education in MCU}, author={Kunpan, Pra Chamras and Chalakbang, Wannika and Phengsawat, Waro and Steannoppakao, Ponthep}, year={2020}, month={Apr.}, pages={98–109} }
